Makes some minor revisions & grammatical corrections to the docs. Some
notable items:
- tries to make references to PEP 8 consistent (rather than PEP-8, PEP 8,
PEP-08, etc)
- general typos

If PyChecker is the only one in the list that is defuct, this clarifies that. Otherwise it looks like you're listing all of them as defunct.
